ShanghaiJiading District Talent Introduction Meeting
In order to find new ways to attractinternational talents, to build a career platform for overseas talents, and tobring in excellent talents who intend to come China to start their own businessand career, an introduction meeting will be held by Jiading District ofShanghai in Cambridge on June 23, 2016. The event is open to all overseasstudents and people who intend to return to China. At the meeting, we will showcase the entrepreneurial environment in Jiading District, and a number of jobopportunities in national research institutes and high-quality enterprises inthe Automobile, Medicine, Internet, Robotic and other fields will be presented.
JiadingDistrict is located in the northwest part of Shanghai; it is the key portalconnecting Shanghai to the economic hinterland of “Yangtze River Delta”. Thetotal area of the district is 463 square kilometers, and the total populationis 1.66 million. Jiading is a renowned historic and cultural site in SouthChina; it was established as a county in Song Dynasty 800 years ago. As earlyas 1958, Shanghai Municipal Government recognized Jiading as a scientificsatellite city. It now has eleven research national institutes, 8 collegesincluding Tongji University. Jiading is internationally well known for theautomobile industry, 29 Fortune Global 500 automobile companies are settledhere. In 2015, Jiading was recognized as the only scientific innovation centerzone in suburban Shanghai and is now faced with many new developmentalopportunities.
