University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC)
UESTC is a multidisciplinary university, featuring a harmonious integration of science，engineering，management and liberal arts，with a strong research force in electronic information science and technology. It belongs to Ministry of Education of China, and is selected into Project 985 (top university program).
School of Energy Science and Engineering (SESE)
The SESE at the UESTC devotes to the solution of energy shortage and in the energy use, including key science and technology issues in energy field and sustainable development. By combining the superiority in electronic information domain of UESTC with the energy science and technology, the energy research program at UESTC encompasses the whole production and consumption chain of electrical energy, i.e., power generation - energy storage – power transmission - power distribution – electricity end use, etc. And the research includes all the fields from materials, to components, systems and applications.

The SESE at UESTC are seeking to fill faculty positions. The positions involve research, undergraduate and graduate teaching, and advising students.

Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to:
Power System
1.electric power distribution and transmission including power system dynamics and stability control
2.distributed generation, alternative energy and grid integration, grid architecture, and grid control
3.power system protection, power system simulation and computation
4.wide-area power systems management and protection
Power Electronics
1.energy conversion and control
2.analysis, simulation and design of electric power circuit and system
3.electric motor drive and control
4.integration and control of distributed generation and energy storage
Energy Economics
1.development and strategic plan for energy, environment and economic development
2.technology and development related to global change
3.economic and econometric modeling and analysis of energy systems and issues
Materials Science
1.renewable energy materials and devices
2.energy conversion，storage，materials science and engineering
3.packaging, measurement, analysis and processing of renewable energy materials and devices
Energy efficiency
1.high-efficiency energy conversion
2.energy efficiency in industrial applications
3.combined heat and power generation or multi-energy systems
4.power quality control

POSITION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Academic Leader
Candidates should be 1000 Talent Plan scholar (Recruitment Program of Global Experts), Changjiang Scholar, winner of China National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation or other talents of the same level.
Professor and Researcher
Candidates should be PH.D graduated from famous global universities or institutes, or professors working at famous Chinese universities. Candidates should be less than 40 years old with excellent performance and high academic level.
Associate Professor and Associate Researcher
Candidates should be PH.D less than 35 years old, and graduated from famous global universities or institutes with excellent performance and high potential.
Lecturers
Candidates should be PH.D graduated from famous global universities or institutes with experience of participating in major scientific or engineering project, studying or working abroad and publishing SCI paper. Candidates should be less than 35 years old, have solid professional foundation, qualification of being a teacher and team-spirit.
