The economies of China and Myanmar are highly complementary and the bilateral trade volume has been growing. China's investment in Myanmar mainly focuses on energy, agriculture, infrastructure and other fields, which have provided strong support for Myanmar's economic and social development. The implementation of these projects has not only improved Myanmar's infrastructure, facilitated economic exchanges between the two countries, but also helped promote economic development and improvement of people's livelihood between the two countries. At the same time, China is also actively promoting the optimization and upgrading of the trade structure between the two countries and strengthening cooperation in emerging areas such as the digital economy.
