Job description Sysadmin

Hey, do you want to make the Chinese ecommerce revolution happen? Join 88tc88 in Berlin to work as a sysadmin and be responsible for the IT management of our highly successful media distribution in China. You will be working on the front-end design and back-end development as well as the web design in general. You will be a executing member of our small, but highly efficent team, providing broad technical and creative input as well as innovative and strategic ideas to optimize our product and forsee IT developments. If your diet consists of nothing but coffee and energy drinks, well, that's absolutely fine with us.


Responsibilities:
  • Managing the current infrastructure in Europe and, to a certain extent, in China
  • Maintain, upgrade and work on our database
  • Source and implement monitoring and analysis applications.
  • Participate in Chinese IT development
  • Secure and optimize our workflow process


What you should bring to the table:
  • 3 year+ work experience
  • Programming languages: PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby, HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • MySQL and some other databases
  • Excellent command of the english language
  • Experiences or at least an interest in chinese culture and thinking
  • Self-starting personality
  • A passion for learning new technologies
  • ideally experience in Mobile Development (Objective C, IDE, Source Control...)
