Established in 2010, the Aalto University is a new university with centuries of experience. The Aalto University was created from the merger of three Finnish universities: The Helsinki School of Economics, Helsinki University of Technology and The University of Art and Design Helsinki. Aalto University School of Science and Technology has been divided into four new schools starting from 1st of January 2011. The six schools of Aalto University are all leading and renowned institutions in their respective fields and in their own right. The combination of six schools opens up new possibilities for strong multi-disciplinary education and research. The new university's ambitious goal is to be one of the leading institutions in the world in terms of research and education in its own specialized disciplines.

Aalto University School of Science 阿尔托大学科学学院介绍
The School of Science is responsible for the Aalto University common basic courses in mathematics, physics, computer science and engineering, industrial engineering and management, and languages and communication. The School of Science provides students with a variety of options from information networks to applied physics. We have four degree programmes in Finnish and altogether fourteen international Master's programmes in English with two Erasmus Mundus programmes leading to an international double degree. For instance in 2010, the departments of the school awarded 545 Masters of Science in Technology and 75 Doctors of Science in Technology. The School of Science is located in several buildings in the Otaniemi area.

Introduction of International Master’s Programmes 国际研究生项目具体简介
We have fourteen international Master's programmes in English with two Erasmus Mundus programmes leading to an international double degree, which are allocated in different departments of the school. In addition to host of the its main department, each programme may also get involvements and supports from other departments in the School of Science, other departments in other schools, other universities, even from other countries, which provide many courses and practical work chances for the completeness of the studies.
