Ethos technologies in partnership with Sky are opening a position of Systems Analyst to work on a full-time basis in Beijing office.

The position is for a Systems Analyst to work within a Service Managed Centre (SMC). You will work in a highly skilled, highly motivated team of support specialists with competencies in a wide range of technologies. The team is support and project driven and works across all Sky’s key platforms and services 24x7 across diverse geographic locations. Good written and spoken English are essential.
Key responsibilities:
· A successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, logging and reporting issues, and will take action to resolve known or non-complex problems.
· Participate in Major Production Incident (MPI) calls when required. Validate external web checks and provide real time analysis of our customer experience.
· They will manage the incident ticketing system, assign ownership, communicate with interested parties and escalate to support areas. They will also manage email communications and telephone enquiries.
· They will assist in release management activities, the scheduling and documenting of tasks. They will actively plan downtime and maintenance windows with service managers and business owners.
· A key task will be the compilation of reports and metrics and attendance at management meetings.
· There will also be administrative tasks assigned by the managers such as provisioning equipment and access for new starters and requesting access to data centers.
The successful applicant will have:
· Excellent English and be able to demonstrate good communication and people skills.
· A level of technical expertise, with some understanding of IT terminology and technologies. They will need to be proficient in using Microsoft Office based applications.
· The candidate will be a clear logical thinker, will have good attention to detail and be organized with strong coordinating skills.
· They will have a strong desire to work in a dynamic environment, they will be versatile and enthusiastic, show drive and commitment and be a fast learner.
· The position would suit a university leaver or first job person.
